Channel A

Channel A (Hangul: 채널 A, Hangul:동아방송, Hanja:東亞放送) is a general broadcasting company in South Korea, contributed by The Dong-a Ilbo.

History

1- 25 December 1980 - Dong-A Broadcasting Station closed due to the mandatory merger to KBS Radio 2 by the military government forces.
2- 22 July 2009 - Amendment of Media law passed the national assembly.
3- 31 December 2010 - JTBC, TV Chosun, MBN, and Channel A elected as a General Service Channel Broadcasters.
4- 1 December 2011 - Channel A starting broadcasting.
